Choirs For Ecocide Law is a choral project whose principal purpose is to raise awareness of the addition of an international Ecocide Law to the Treaty of Rome alongside previously enacted international criminal codes. The Choirs for Ecocide Law gala concert offers singers the opportunity to engage in environmental activism in their own communities, through their own choir. The concert consists of 15 songs in popular style, written for this purpose.
In co-operation with: ChoirMate, Stop Ecocide International, Ecocide Law Finland, European Choral Association, International Federation for Choral Music, Pirkanmaa Choir Centre
The patron of the project is President Tarja Halonen.
