Which values can we bring to society by singing? And how can we address the values in our own daily work?

Do you want to hear more about how to use collective singing for the benefit of society and how to address values such as inclusion, equity, diversity and accessibility or environmental sustainability in your daily work as singer, conductor/vocal leader, composer/arranger or manager?

In this workshop Sonja Greiner, Secretary General of the European Choral Association will give examples on projects based on the benefits of singing in working with people with migrant background or people with disabilities. In a second, interactive part, workshop participants will exchange ideas on how to use performances to raise awareness for important topics, reduce the environmental impact of your work and become more open, diverse and accessible.

For a sneak preview on the material used during this workshop go to Guidelines and Handbooks | European Choral Association.

Sonja Greiner has been working for Europa Cantat and the European Choral Association since 1995 (and before as volunteer) and has been its Secretary General since 2002.
