Welcome to a forest adventure with MyChoirs (in Finnish MunKuorot, in Swedish MinKör)! The forest is full of scents, colours, stories and songs – in Finnish and Swedish. Come hear the choirs and sing along with them! This concert is free of charge and suitable for the whole family and it is hosted by Daniela Fogelholm. The singers are assisted by Mandys Nyckel.
Mandys Nyckel
Mandys Nyckel are a Helsinki-based folk-pop band, drawing influences from folk music, world music and pop music. Most of their songs have music and lyrics by Amanda Henriksson, while the arrangements are collectively created. The band specialises in imaginative lyrics, a warm atmosphere and catchy rhythms.
MyChoirs
MyChoirs are choirs that everyone can join, with no auditions and with consideration for everyone regardless of background; they also include voice teaching. In the MyChoir network, no choir conductor is left alone, as a steering group of professionals is there to help. MyChoirs are organised by the Association of Finnish Youth Choirs.
