AORA + Musta lammas

AORA are a Swedish group who have been singing together for seven years. Their broad musical range, from sentimental harmonies to bold rhythmic statements, led them to win the Contest for Vocal Ensembles at the Tampere Vocal Music Festival in 2021. The jury noted that AORA captivated them with “youthful charm and skilful ensemble singing”.

The other group on this double bill is a choir named Musta lammas [Black sheep]. Specialising in popular music, this 24-member ensemble performs both members’ original songs and covers in innovative arrangements. In 2017, Musta lammas won the choir competition at the Aarhus Vocal Festival in Denmark and also received an award for the best arrangement.
