For more than 30 years, The Real Group from Sweden have toured the world and fascinated audiences with their unique performances that take in jazz, pop music and choral music from northern Europe. The group was originally founded by five students keen to explore the artistic potential of vocal music at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm in 1984. Over the years, the group has established itself as one of the cornerstones of modern a cappella worldwide. Today, the legacy of The Real Group is carried on by a new lineup drawn from a younger generation, together with The Real Group Academy, an interactive platform for inspiring creativity, artistry, group development and learning processes in vocal ensembles and choirs.
